Born and raised in Omaha, Martin graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Master of Architecture Degree. He’s a licensed architect working for the Leo A Daly Company in Omaha, Nebraska. Martin has been involved over the years with a variety of organizations, non-profits and community based ideas.
Martin was involved with the American Institute of Architects – Omaha Chapter President in 2003 and in Leadership Omaha Class 22. He served on the Omaha by Design Technical Advisory Board, Midtown Neighborhood Alliance Board, and was a Founding Member of the Restore Omaha Conference and a Founding Member of Restoration Exchange Omaha. His involvement with the Gifford Park Neighborhood began in 2004 when he and his brother Rob purchased their first property in the neighborhood. Martin is a GPNA Board Member and the Founder of the Gifford Park Neighborhood Market.
In 2015 Restoration Exchange Omaha presented Martin and his brothers the 2015 Restoration Exchange Omaha Preservation Award for Residential work in the Gifford Park Neighborhood.
